What you'll do
- Establish a comprehensive research agenda that encompasses machine learning and agentic systems, spanning from the generation of wet-lab data to the deployment of customer-facing applications.
- Develop predictive models that elucidate the connections between chemical structures, biological responses, dosage levels, and human toxicity outcomes.
- Train extensive multimodal models utilizing a variety of data sources, including chemical structures, high-content cellular imagery, transcriptomics, proteomics, mass spectrometry, ADME data, and clinical information.
- Create foundational models and representation-learning systems tailored for biological images and molecular datasets.
- Design predictive frameworks for human toxicity that take into account factors such as dosage, Cmax, in vitro potency, and the biological state of the subject.
- Innovate methods for aligning and interpreting embeddings across various assays, time points, and biological modalities to enhance model accuracy.
- Perform thorough error analysis to pinpoint model failure modes and establish data requirements for ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate closely with chemists, computational biologists, and wet-lab scientists to devise experiments that will boost model performance and reliability.
- Construct mechanistic agents capable of reasoning through experimental data and existing literature to inform scientific decision-making processes.
