What you'll do
- Establish the technical roadmap for the Integrations platform to support business growth.
- Architect and build core components including APIs, webhooks, and automation workflows.
- Manage system connectivity with external tools like Salesforce, Workato, and Zapier.
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and API Gateway for integration workflows.
- Mentor engineering staff through design reviews, pair programming, and incident analysis.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor into the engineering workflow.
- Maintain high standards for system performance, observability, and operational excellence.

Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating at the Staff Software Engineer level.
- Background in startup environments.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Node.js, Python, Java.
- Expertise in API design, microservices,



and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform.
- Proficiency in performance monitoring and log analytics using tools like NewRelic and BugSnag.

Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce integrations including NPC, NPSP, and Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with CRM product development.
- Proficiency in PHP Laravel.
- Proven track record of using AI development tools to improve delivery speed.
