The HSE General Team Lead for Argentina provides leadership, strategic direction, and technical expertise across Health, Safety, Environment, and Regulatory activities. Leading a team of HSE professionals, this role partners closely with employees, leaders, project teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to drive regulatory compliance, risk management, and the effectiveness of critical safeguards. The position plays a key role in enabling the safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible execution of business objectives while supporting HSE performance throughout the lifecycle of company assets.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Lead and develop a team of HSE professionals supporting Argentina operations.
- Coordinate environmental, health, safety, and regulatory programs across Argentina operations.
- Drive implementation of Chevron's HSE Management System and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations,



and Chevron Shale & Tight business requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical support to operational and business leaders on HSE risks, performance, and compliance matters.
- Direct safety, environmental, and health activities throughout the lifecycle of operations to enable safe and reliable execution of the business plan.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across Argentina and Chevron Shale & Tight assets.
- Represent Chevron's interests by influencing the development and application of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in industry associations and joint-industry initiatives to advance HSE performance and regulatory alignment.
- Monitor HSE performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of effective risk mitigation strategies.
