About the role

The Head of Legal is a senior, hands‑on role combining strategic legal judgment, corporate governance leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational execution in a multi‑jurisdictional insurance environment.

We’re currently looking for candidates in Miami, Mexico City, or Buenos Aires.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on all legal matters of the Company, including corporate general matters of U.S. entities, such as drafting board and stockholder resolutions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, and monitoring ongoing legal and financial obligations.
- Draft, review, and approve the Company’s legal forms and documentation, including insurance policies, riders and add‑ons, underwriting forms, claims forms, codes of conduct, and other internal and external legal documents.
- Review, negotiate, and approve contracts necessary to support the Company’s operations, with particular focus on agreements involving intermediaries, reinsurers, distributors, service providers, and strategic business partners.




- Represent the Company, or oversee its representation, in legal matters involving senior management, regulators, counterparties, and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with, instruct, and manage outside counsel, ensuring appropriate scope, quality of work, cost control, and alignment with the Company’s legal and business strategy.
- Lead the formation of new legal entities, manage corporate structuring initiatives, and oversee the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and brand protection.
- Maintain and preserve corporate records, including corporate books, resolutions, minutes, and other governance documentation.
- Apply strong knowledge and legal research skills in insurance‑related matters in Latin America, supporting the Company’s regional operations and regulatory strategy.
