Data Modeler (Business Process Analyst)

Our client, an important software development company, is looking for a Software Engineer specializing in the Data Modeling & Analytics ecosystem (ADF, Databricks, Python, etc…). The idóneo candidate is the one who has a wide experience in infrastructure enterprise, On-Premise and Cloud.

Main Responsibilities
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models
- Work with business and app/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
- Hands-on modeling & design
- Participate in agile ceremonies, weekly demos and such
- Communicate your daily commitments

Qualifications
- Good knowledge of data modeling.
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Data modeling and Database principles (relational and non-relational)
- Experience with Agile or Scrum ceremonies




- You are passionate about good engineering practices and testing
- Ability to organize, prioritize and communicate daily/weekly goals
- You like to learn, are curious, humble and like to get things done

Required Skills
- Communication English skills. Level B2
- Proficient with Erwin / ER Studio / Enterprise Architect / MS Visio
- Good knowledge of the cloud environments architecture (e.g: Azure / AWS / GCP).

Nice to have
- Good knowledge of metadata management and ETL
- Proficient with ETL, data ingestion protocols, integration projects/tools such as Azure Data Factory, Talend, Databricks, Data Lake
- Proficient with data warehouse and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts
- Proficient with Python
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
