We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join a beauty and skincare brand dedicated specifically to serving women of color and individuals with darker skin tones. If you have a strong storytelling instinct, a sharp eye for aesthetics, and the ability to transform raw footage into highly engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, we want you on our team.

What you’ll do:
- Transform long-form raw footage (up to 1 hour) into highly engaging, fast-paced short-form content for social media
- Edit and meticulously optimize videos specifically for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Apply strong storytelling instincts to maintain audience retention and hook viewers from the first second
- Maintain the brand's specific visual aesthetic and voice consistently across all platforms
- Adapt your editing style, pacing, and effects to align with current social media trends and algorithm changes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Has proven experience as a Video Editor and can provide a mandatory portfolio showcasing dynamic, social-media-optimized work
- Possesses a deep understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and platform-specific best practices (e.g., knowing what works on TikTok vs. YouTube)
- Exhibits an excellent visual aesthetic sense, perfect editing rhythm, and strong storytelling ability
- Is highly proactive, self-managed, and comfortable working a adaptable part-time schedule
- Bonus:
Has previous experience editing for beauty, e-commerce, or lifestyle brands
