Head of Legal Americas | Leading Integral Company

A leading global company is seeking a Head of Legal Americas to lead its regional legal function and serve as a strategic business partner across the Americas.

Based in Argentina and reporting directly to the International Legal Affairs leadership at Headquarters, this executive role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution. The successful candidate will oversee legal matters across multiple countries, coordinate regional legal resources, and advise senior business leaders on complex legal, governance and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary legal advisor for the Americas region, supporting Business Unit Directors, General Managers and regional leadership.
- Provide legal guidance on complex commercial agreements,



strategic projects and day‑to‑day business operations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead the legal coordination of approximately 18 affiliates and a regional network of internal and external legal counsel.
- Oversee significant litigation, regulatory matters and legal risk management across the region.
- Drive regional governance initiatives, including corporate governance, document retention, data privacy and competition law programs.
- Support mergers, acquisitions and joint venture transactions in coordination with global legal teams.
- Partner closely with Headquarters and cross-functional teams including Compliance, Finance, Tax, HSE and Strategy.
- Promote knowledge sharing, legal best practices and the development of the regional legal community.
- Ensure consistent legal standards and governance practices across all affiliates in the Americas.
