About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our integral engineering team. This position focuses on backend development — building and optimizing custom WordPress plugins, APIs, and integrations for large-scale, high-performance websites.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of WordPress internals, experience working with enterprise clients, and a strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code.

Responsibilities
Design and develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch using PHP, MySQL, and modern best practices.
Implement advanced custom fields (ACF), custom post types, and taxonomies for structured data management.




Optimize database queries and improve performance across complex WordPress sites (meta queries, caching, indexing).
Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and automation tools.
Develop and maintain cron jobs, background tasks, and data synchronization scripts.
Build and maintain Gutenberg blocks or React-based admin components when required.
Ensure sites meet performance, accessibility, and SEO standards (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA, design) following Agile practices.
Write clean, well-documented, and unit-tested code following OOP principles and WordPress coding standards.

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional WordPress development experience, focusing on backend and custom plugin work.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with WordPress hooks (actions & filters), custom queries,
