Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Employee Relations Counselor through July 12th at 11:59 p.m.

This role follows a hybrid work model, with a combination of remote and in‑office work aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities
- Start‑to‑finish handling of investigative processes including intake, strategic planning, conducting interviews, data (evidence) gathering and analysis, report writing, updating case management systems, involving stakeholders and providing updates.
- Provide consultative services to business management at all levels on topics including performance management, discipline, and other corrective actions.
- Facilitate dispute and conflict resolution processes.
- Partner with other Chevron organizations pertaining to work assignments (e.g., Legal, Integral Security, IT Forensics, Labor Relations, Compliance).
- Represent Chevron through professional organizations to benchmark and understand external ER‑related matters, best practices, processes, and tools.
- Attend unemployment claims appeal hearings as a Chevron representative.




- Lead and/or support special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, or a related HR discipline.
- Fluent English.
- Practical application of organizational policies, internal processes, and local labor legislation.
- Strong attention to detail including demonstrated expertise analyzing and summarizing relevant facts appropriate for intended audience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel effectively and timely.
- Demonstrated independent decision‑making ability, prioritization skills, and project planning and management.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to travel occasionally, as required by the role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
