In Grupo Peñaflor we are looking for an
Accounting Analyst
to join our team in Vicente López, Buenos Aires.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
- Maintain fixed asset subledgers and own fixed asset process for busines
- Maintain lease accounting proces
- Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and key balance sheet analyses
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, investigating variances and supporting management reporting
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with FP&A;, Operations, Tax, and Corporate departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with group requirements
- Maintain effective relationships and communication with Corporate Finance, Accounting, Tax, and other shared service teams
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support the implementation of accounting best practices
- Participate in special projects related to accounting, financial reporting, controls, and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountin
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experienc
- Prior experience at a Big Four accounting firm strongly preferre
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirement
- Experience preparing US GAAP financial statement
- Experience working in multinational or complex business environments preferre
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) require
- Advanced Excel skills require
- Experience with ERP systems preferre
