At Cona, we are looking for a Senior Accountant for a major multinational renewable energy company. The Senior Accountant shall be an analytic individual capable of processing and reviewing different set of data from the Backoffice local book and SAP reporting accounting GLs. This person should be the first key reviewer of the information received from the BPO in TMF while also be capable of reviewing in detail and make in-depth intakes on what is to improve in the data.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze all data supplied by Backoffice (primarily) and in SAP.
- Reconcile these two sets of GLs to find main divergencies.
- Intake first analysis of documentation and reports issued by Backoffice (both accounting and tax)
- Reconcile taxing accounts in GL.
- Help review all entries.
- Performer of Manual Adjustment proposals.
- Follow up and organize inventories and reconcile them.
- Prepare certifications and filings as requested.
- Prepare and update reports and supporting working papers
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in both IFRS and ARGGAAP.
- Assist in the review of documentation for accounting compliance purposes
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience. (1 year in analysis minimum)
- Big four or other relevant audit firm background preferred
- SAP basic knowledge is a plus.
- Basic tax knowledge.
- Upper intermediate English.
- Proactive, hardworking, responsible, committed.
- Passionate about work and learning.
