For this senior development role, with 8+ years of experience, the compensation
range is $5,000 - $9,500 USD per month.



This range acknowledges the extensive
expertise, leadership capabilities, and significant contributions expected at

About the Role:

We're hiring a Senior Payments Engineer to own and scale the systems at the
heart of Sezzle's acquiring and payment-processing stack — the services that
integrate with processors and gateways (Stripe, Adyen, Fiserv, Plaid, and more
partners from the broader acquiring ecosystem), move funds, and keep
transactions accurate, auditable, and resilient.

This is a backend-focused, high-ownership role. You'll partner closely with
Product, Risk, Compliance, and Support, as well as other engineering teams, to
deliver scalable solutions to hard problems in authorization, settlement,
reconciliation, and disputes. You'll mentor teammates, unblock peers, and
occasionally lead small project
