Design, validate and release electrical wiring harness for the assigned vehicle
families. Root-cause and solve failures throughout the product’s life cycle.
Propose and execute cost optimization actions to these components.
Systems Engineer
The Wiring Systems Engineer is responsible for all aspects of wire harness
schematics design. This includes wire and fuse sizing, harness architecture
layout, implementation of CAN network layouts, product plan assessment, harness
complexity creation, harness design optimization (VAVE / VO).
Platform Engineer
The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) PI Release Engineer will be responsible
for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components.
The Engineer will coordinate drawing creation CAD release in Teamcenter and
validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments,
will support manufacturing facilities for entire life cycle, manage supplier
engineering support team and manage large amounts of data and be fluent working
in corporate computer
Qualifications
* BS in Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive or related
* 5 years of experience in Automotive industry and Product Development
* Experience in DFMEA and DVP&R; development and execution
* Expertise in change management, vehicle specification and bill of material
analysis
* Good communication skills both written and spoken. Good English language
* Conflict management skills
Preferred:
* DFSS Green or Black Belt
* Reactive Green belt or Shainin Journeyman
