Join us The GoFundMe team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Payments organization on the Payouts team, helping us build and scale next-generation payments infrastructure capable of handling billions of dollars in transactions.
You'll serve as a Senior IC on the team responsible for ledgering money movement and getting money out to the people who need it. You'll help bring more of our core payments capabilities in-house — reducing reliance on external vendors and fintech partners for compliance and control reasons — while designing and implementing the end-to-end product lifecycle for payout solutions, from ideation to launch and iteration.
This role is adecuado for a seasoned technical leader who thrives on solving complex problems in payments, setting architectural direction, and leading by example through hands-on contributions.
This is a hybrid position.Candidates considered for this role will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Job
Refine and execute GoFundMe's multi-year payments strategy to grow giving through innovative use cases, and bring more of our core payments capabilities in-house.
Design and implement the end-to-end product lifecycle for payout solutions, from ideation to launch and iteration.
Collaborate with engineers, product management, designers, and external partners to design and implement next-generation payments infrastructure for GoFundMe, creating impact in service of our customers, mission, and business.
Own critical technical decisions across ledgering, money movement, and disbursement, anticipating future use cases and designing to minimize the cost
