About the role

We are searching for an exceptional Assistant Controller / Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Accounting team. This is a senior, high-ownership position that serves as the second CPA in the function and a direct operational partner to the VP, Finance Operations & General Controller.

DataCamp operates across six international subsidiaries — US, UK, Belgium, Singapore, UAE, and an upcoming Portugal entity — with consolidated audited financial statements prepared under US GAAP and a multi-currency consolidation spanning six functional currencies. Our accounting stack includes NetSuite OneWorld, Zuora,



Salesforce/CPQX, Ramp, Tipalti, and Avalara. The business is actively expanding its usage-based pricing model and investing heavily in AI-enabled finance operations.

This role owns the most technically demanding workstreams in the accounting function: consolidated financial statement preparation and audit management, US and foreign tax compliance (income and sales tax nexus, indirect taxes, state and local taxes (SALT)), foreign subsidiary oversight, and technical accounting research and month-end close ownership of key accounting areas such as ASC 842 – lease accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and intercompany eliminations. You will be required to coordinate closely with our external auditors (Deloitte US) and US tax advisors (Withum).

The right hire is a former Big 4 or large regional public accountant who has since built senior-level industry experience at a US SaaS or technology grow
