We are hiring an Interim Head of Human Resources. Reporting to the CEO, this person leads the Human Capital team, including Human Resources and Volunteer Services. This executive role develops and implements people strategies that support organizational goals and business objectives while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce and organizational matters. The Interim Head of Human Resources oversees all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll,



talent acquisition and retention, performance management, training and development, workers' compensation, risk management, HR systems, and compliance. The role also provides leadership for the Volunteer Services program, ensuring effective volunteer recruitment, engagement, and retention in support of the organization's mission.

Some of the Essential Functions:
- Lead and support the Volunteer Services program, maximizing volunteer contributions to mission-driven, operational, and administrative activities.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with federal and state employment laws.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including plan design, administration, market competitiveness, and cost management.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, and workplace best practices
