Position Description

Looking for a qualified Sand Blaster to add to our team in our Santa Fe Springs location. No on-job training must have 2 or more years of experience

Job summary

sand blaster's primary responsibility is to clean and prepare surfaces by removing paint, rust, dirt, and other contaminants using specialized sandblasting equipment, ensuring a smooth and even finish on materials like metal, often in preparation for painting or further coating; key tasks include operating sandblasting machinery, setting up protective masking, inspecting surfaces, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring quality control throughout the process.

Skills and Qualifications

- MUST be bilingual English and Spanish
- Have at least 2 or more years of experience

- Have good communication

- Have steeltoe shoes





- Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and consistent results

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols

- Physical stamina to work in potentially demanding positions and environments

- Ability to read and interpret work instructions

- Basic understanding of surface preparation techniques
