We're looking for an experienced Senior Prior Authorization Specialist & Team Lead to support behavioral and mental health practices with insurance verification and eligibility.
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Review copays, deductibles, coinsurance, session limits, telehealth coverage, and prior authorizations
Accurately document benefits in the EHR
Resolve eligibility discrepancies and flag potential issues
Help train and support new verification specialists
Requirements:
Experience in US medical insurance verification, billing, or revenue cycle
Behavioral/mental health experience required
Knowledge of insurance eligibility, payer portals, and prior authorization
Experience with Simple Practice or Therapy Notes is a plus
Strong English communication and attention to detail
