Job Description As a Senior Production Support Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical data platforms and production environments. This is a long-term L2/L3 support role requiring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate, resolve, and prevent data-related incidents in cloud-based environments.

You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of data systems running on AWS. Qualifications Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Production Support roles.

Strong hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Experience supporting and operating AWS-based data platforms and services.
Strong knowledge of Amazon Aurora, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience investigating and resolving production issues within data ecosystems.
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, and operational support activities.




Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution independently.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills. Set Yourself Apart With Experience supporting Amazon DocumentDB environments.
Exposure to AWS monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Watch.
Experience with incident management, problem management, and ITIL-based support processes.
Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL workflows, and batch processing systems.
Experience building operational automation solutions to reduce manual support effort.
