Role Description

As a
Senior Backend Engineer

at Klerk, you’ll play a key role in architecting and scaling the systems that power our platform.



You’ll work closely with our founders contributing to a product that already supports thousands of businesses and is on track to surpass millions in GMV. This is your chance to join an early-stage team where

Qualifications
- Experience:

6+ years of backend development experience
- Skilled in one or more backend languages (Python, Go, Java, or Node.js)
- Ability to work
collaboratively
in a team environment
- Strong

fundamentals in distributed systems, concurrency, and system design.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with database and cloud
- Basic knowledge of Front-End Development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
