2. The role

You'll own core accounting operations across a portfolio of US-based clients: keeping the books clean, the close on schedule, and the clients informed. This isn't a support role. You're driving the close, managing the relationships, and making sure the numbers are right. You'll also help improve the systems and processes that make the whole firm better.

Accounting Operations

- Own month-end close for assigned clients: reconciliations, adjusting entries, and financial statement packages delivered on time
- Maintain the general ledger with accuracy, applying US GAAP principles and international best practices
- Prepare P&L; and balance sheet variance analysis, explaining deviations clearly and with sound judgment
- Prepare close journal entries with proper accounting treatment and clean documentation every time

AP, Payroll & Communication

- Run end-to-end AP workflows: vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs in Ramp and Bill.com
- Process payroll for assigned clients using Gusto and/or QBO Payroll,



ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
- Serve as a reliable daily point of contact for client queries - responsive, precise, and always ahead of the deadline
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose concrete fixes - templates, automations, checklists

- Your English is professional, written and verbal, and you can run a client call or write a clean summary email without hesitation
- You find something broken, fix it, and document it so it doesn't happen again
- You pick up new tools quickly and use them to work smarter, not just harder
- You thrive in ambiguity and make solid judgment calls when the answer isn't spelled out
- You're deadline-driven, organized, and consistently reliable

4. Qualifications

- 3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or tax: ideally at an international firm, Big Four, or high-growth company
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, including revenue recognition and balance sheet accounting
- Strong judgment on account classification and cutoffs; comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Hands-on experience with QBO, Gusto, Ramp, and/or Bill.com; NetSuite or Xero a plus
- Strong Excel skills - reconciliations, pivot tables, and schedules built from scratch
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional English fluency - written and verbal
- Must reside in Argentina at time of application
