Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Río Cuarto. The Cashier is responsible for processing customer purchases accurately, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and electronic payments, and issuing receipts. Daily tasks include greeting customers, answering basic product or service questions, and ensuring lines move efficiently.

The Cashier also assists with balancing the cash drawer, following loss-prevention procedures, and reporting any discrepancies. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining a clean checkout area,



restocking small items near the register, and collaborating with colleagues to support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for handling cash, cards, and other payment methods.

Customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a professional, courteous manner.

Ability to operate POS systems and learn basic retail technology and software.

Reliability in following procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, and loss prevention.

Organizational and time-management skills to manage queues and multitask during busy periods.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting small items.

Prior experience in retail or cashier positions is beneficial but not required.

Basic secondary education and proficiency in local language; additional language skills are an advantage.
