Requirements:

- Strong experience developing with COBOL (ideally COBOL CICS and COBOL Batch)

- Experience working with mainframe environments such as IBM z/OS

- Familiarity with JCL (Job Control Language) and DB2

- Ability to analyze, maintain, and optimize legacy COBOL applications

- Experience debugging and resolving performance issues in mainframe systems

- Understanding of structured programming and procedural logic

- Experience working with source control systems (Endevor, Git, etc.)

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Advanced written and spoken English skills

Nice To Have:





- Experience with migration projects or integration with modern technologies (APIs, web services)

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies applied to legacy systems

- Knowledge of Natural/Adabas, VSAM, or Assembler

- Experience in banking, insurance, or financial services industry

- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation purposes

- Familiarity with cloud adoption strategies for hybrid systems
