Project Brief

Our client is a data-driven audience management and marketing platform serving publishers and media companies. You'll be joining an established AI Pod to drive a high-impact roadmap of predictive and behavioral models — starting with a Subscriber Churn prediction model and expanding into content intelligence, smart pricing, and send-time optimization. This is a greenfield-meets-production role: some work builds on existing systems, some starts from scratch.

Must-Haves

- Strong proficiency in Snowflake
- Python for data science (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models (churn prediction, recommendation systems, or similar)
- Familiarity with NLP or content classification
- Ability to work independently within a cross-functional AI team
- Proven track record of taking a model from concept to production

Nice to Have
- Experience in media, publishing, or subscription-based businesses
- Background in behavioral data analysis or email engagement modeling
- Experience building autonomous agents or monitoring pipelines
- Familiarity with bot detection or list hygiene workflows

What You Will Do
- Evaluate the existing v1 Subscriber Churn Model and either advance or redirect it based on your technical assessment
- Enhance our client live AI Content Tagging product — identifying improvements to expand capabilities and accuracy
- Build a Smart Pricing system that recommends promotions, discounts, and campaigns based on subscription behavior to reduce churn and re-engage lapsed subscribers
- Develop a Send Time Optimization model that delivers emails when each recipient is most likely to engage




- Design and build a Bot Monitoring Agent that identifies bot activity patterns and recommends list hygiene or re-engagement actions
- Collaborate closely with the AI Pod and report directly into team´s workstream
