About the role We are searching for an exceptional Assistant Controller / Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Accounting team.
This is a senior, high-ownership position that serves as the second CPA in the function and a direct operational partner to the VP, Finance Operations & Integral Controller. Data Camp operates across six international subsidiaries — US, UK, Belgium, Singapore, UAE, and an upcoming Portugal entity — with consolidated audited financial statements prepared under US GAAP and a multi-currency consolidation spanning six functional currencies.

Ramp, Tipalti, and Avalara. The business is actively expanding its usage-based pricing model and investing heavily in AI-enabled finance operations. This role owns the most technically demanding workstreams in the accounting function: consolidated financial statement preparation and audit management, US and foreign tax compliance (income and sales tax nexus, indirect taxes, state and local taxes (SALT)), foreign subsidiary oversight, and technical accounting research and month-end close ownership of key accounting areas such as ASC 842 – lease accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and intercompany eliminations.
