Role Description The Jefe de obra will oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites in La Laguna, ensuring that projects are executed according to plans, budget, timeline, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role includes coordinating subcontractors and internal teams, monitoring progress, and resolving technical and operational issues promptly.

The position involves reviewing drawings and specifications, organizing materials and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Jefe de obra will report on project status to management, maintain documentation,



and collaborate closely with clients and project stakeholders to address needs and changes during execution.

Qualifications

- Experience managing construction sites or major work fronts, with the ability to plan, organize, and supervise daily activities.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical documentation, including plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong skills in coordinating teams, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and resolving on-site issues effectively.
- Ability to monitor budgets, timelines, and resource use, with basic competence in project management tools and reporting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance, with familiarity in applicable construction regulations and best practices.
- Relevant technical education in construction, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and capacity to make decisions under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in La Laguna and flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
