Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Scribe with hands-on experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. This role is idóneo for someone with strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent listening and typing skills, and the ability to accurately document patient encounters in real time while providers focus on patient care. Key Responsibilities

Accompany providers during patient visits (virtually or in real time) and accurately document the encounter directly into the EHR.

Record patient history, physical exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans as dictated by the provider.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and entered in a timely manner.

Navigate and update patient charts within the EHR system efficiently.

Assist with pulling relevant patient history, labs,



and prior notes to support the provider during visits.

Flag any documentation discrepancies or missing information to the provider for review.

Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards at all times.

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth documentation workflow. Requirements

Proven experience working as a Medical Scribe.

Required: hands-on experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, DrChrono, or similar).

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows.

Excellent typing speed and accuracy while multitasking during live encounters.

Strong English proficiency (written and verbal); Spanish is a plus.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home office setup.

Qualifications

Background or coursework in a healthcare-related field (pre-med, nursing, biology, or similar).

Experience working remotely with U.S.-based medical practices.

Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements.
