Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant for our General Shared Service Payroll Accounting team. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the financial operations of our international business and ensuring accuracy across multiple jurisdictions. You will collaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic environment that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Handle payroll accounting for certain EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm and the respective US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities, including standard payroll accounting reflection and accruals

Analyze and reconcile payroll across all internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency

Investigate complicated payroll cases and provide timely resolution

Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support payroll-related activities

Address audit requests and participate in regular meetings with external and internal auditors

Manage payroll-related aspects of local audits

Take part in regular process improvement initiatives with other teams, actively analyzing areas for improvement and testing new enhancements

Prepare ad-hoc reports upon request

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience





Excellent MS Office skills, with strong proficiency in Excel

Working experience with ERP systems, with SAP considered an advantage

Company acquisition experience considered an advantage

High personal responsibility and attention to detail, with the ability to control and process information coming from multiple sources

Good oral and written communication skills in English (B1+ level or higher)

Nice to have

Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external partners

Willingness to work hard, including overtime when required

Strong stress tolerance for managing demanding situations and tight deadlines
