Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior SQL (DBA) Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution.

Requirements

- 5+ years of SQL Server (2022 / T-SQL) development experience

- Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning

- Experience optimizing reporting databases

- Strong experience with stored procedures, views, indexing, joins, and temporary tables

- Experience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans

- Ability to identify the most efficient solution for complex SQL performance issues

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting Tableau reporting environments

- Experience working with legacy applications

- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts (current environment does not have a Data Warehouse)

Responsibilities

- Optimize SQL Server databases for reporting workloads

- Develop and optimize SQL views and stored procedures





- Design and maintain indexes to improve query performance

- Optimize joins, temporary tables, and query execution

- Identify the best technical solution for performance bottlenecks

- Work closely with the Tableau Developer to optimize data retrieval for reports
