Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer

As a Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer at EY, you will have an opportunity to assume the role of a technology consultant that helps companies across the globe design and build cloud infrastructure, balancing security, availability and cost requirements.

The systems you co‑create enable businesses to have a general reach and operate around the clock.

Key responsibilities

Establish and employ Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Azure Dev Ops, configuration management automation, orchestrate infrastructure‑as‑code deployment, design, build and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure.
Have experience in Power Shell/Bash, configuration and provisioning of Azure Resources, and cloud‑based development using Azure.
Work in a team following Agile practices and cooperate with client teams to develop solutions that drive value for client business.
Consult and advise client stakeholders in your area of expertise.
Resolve build/release failures, pipeline misconfigurations, and YAML debugging errors to ensure seamless continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Deploy and maintain Azure resources, manage environment provisioning, and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), enforce security policies, and manage secrets across development environments.
Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights,



and Log Analytics to track performance and troubleshoot application crash logs.

Work alongside developers, QA, and IT teams to eliminate delivery bottlenecks and remove workflow blockers.

Essential Requirements

Cloud proficiency: Hands‑on experience configuring Microsoft Azure Cloud services and infrastructure delivery models (IaaS, PaaS).
Operating Systems experience: Windows Server, Linux Server.
CI/CD knowledge: Practical expertise in building and maintaining Azure Dev Ops or similar pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab).
Scripting & automation (nice to have): Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Power Shell, Bash, Python).

Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and orchestration platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
