Influencer Outreach & Ambassador Program Manager
Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Core overlap with U.S. business hours (some flexibility for creator communication across time zones) Reports To: Head of Growth / Marketing
About the Company
We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based functional beverage brand reshaping the energy and hydration category. Our products pair clean, transparent, science-backed ingredients — time-released caffeine, nootropics, and functional performance support — with bold, collectible, limited-edition flavor drops.
We are not a traditional CPG company. We are community-led. Our growth is driven by creators, athletes, gamers, and builders who represent the brand across motorsports, gaming, fitness, and the outdoors. We already run an active ambassador program with a tiered structure, affiliate commissions, and a growing crew of content creators, and we have thousands of five-star reviews behind us.
The brand has proven the model works. This role exists to scale it.
About the Role
Our ambassador and creator program is one of our most powerful growth channels — but until now it has been run informally, alongside a dozen other priorities. We need one person to own it end to end.
This is a builder's role, not a maintenance role. You will be responsible for both filling the top of the funnel (finding and recruiting the right creators) and keeping that funnel productive (onboarding, activating, and retaining ambassadors so they actually post, refer, and drive revenue).
The single biggest challenge in any ambassador program is not recruiting — it is inactivity. Creators sign up, receive a kit, post once or twice, then go quiet. Your core mandate is to solve that: build the systems and relationships that turn a list of names into a consistently active, revenue-producing community.
You will operate as the connective tissue between the brand and its creators — part talent scout, part relationship manager, part program operator.
Key Responsibilities
Creator Sourcing and Recruiting
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit creators across motorsports, garage culture, outdoors, fitness, adventure, gaming, and adjacent niches.
- Manage inbound applications and targeted outbound recruiting.
- Evaluate creators based on content quality, camera presence, cultural fit, consistency, and creative potential—not follower count alone.
- Build an initial creator pipeline, then develop and maintain a reliable core roster.
- Maintain organized creator stages across prospective, trial, active, paused, and inactive talent.
- Replace creators as performance, consistency, or fit declines.
Program Operations and Incentives
- Help formalize and run creator onboarding, expectations, posting requirements, and performance tracking.
- Maintain accurate records of each creator’s status, deliverables, compensation, usage rights, and results.
- Administer approved compensation structures, including retainers, performance bonuses, CPM arrangements, and affiliate incentives.
- Recommend adjustments based on creator performance, content quality, and program economics.
- Escalate higher-cost arrangements, exceptions, and material compensation decisions for approval.
- Coordinate creator sampling and product fulfillment with internal teams.
Daily Community and Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for creators.
- Maintain active communication and build a creator community that supports consistent participation.
- Recognize strong performance and share useful examples across the roster.
- Proactively re-engage inactive creators and identify barriers preventing consistent output.
- Evaluate when a creator should be coached, paused, replaced, or removed under established program guidelines.
Content Strategy and Creative Direction
- Monitor TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and adjacent platforms for emerging hooks, formats, topics, and audience behavior.
- Build and maintain creator briefs containing brand guidance, product information, content examples, and executable assignments.
- Match content concepts to each creator’s strengths, style, demographic, and audience.
- Coordinate focused content sprints around product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and emerging trends.
- Review creator content and provide direct, actionable feedback on hooks, pacing, editing, storytelling, product integration, and calls to action.
- Identify successful formats and help reproduce them across multiple creators without making the content feel repetitive.
- Develop a working library of high-performing concepts, hooks, and content styles.
UGC, Affiliate, and Paid-Creative Pipeline
- Build a consistent flow of creator content supporting organic reach, affiliate activity, TikTok Shop, and paid social.
- Organize creator assets, usage rights, source files, and performance data.
- Surface promising creators, hooks, and formats to the marketing and paid-media teams.
- Help move successful creator content into paid testing, whitelisting, partnership ads, or other amplification channels when appropriate.
- Support the reuse of creator content across the brand's website and owned channels without assuming full ownership of brand social-media management.
- Coordinate with external partners where TikTok Shop, affiliate, or paid-distribution responsibilities overlap.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track content volume, posting consistency, views, impressions, engagement, affiliate sales, GMV where available, content costs, and other performance indicators.
- Compare expected creator output against actual delivery.
- Identify which creators, formats, niches, and incentive structures warrant additional investment.
- Recommend where the program should expand, reduce spend, or replace underperforming creators.
- Report regularly on program activity, cost, output, and commercial performance.
- Work within evolving attribution infrastructure; reporting depth will expand as systems mature.
Compliance and Brand Protection
- Ensure creators follow FTC disclosure requirements and company program standards.
- Confirm content follows approved product-claim and brand guidelines.
- Track and document creator usage rights.
- Flag competitive conflicts, unapproved claims, or reputational risks before content is published or amplified.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated fluency with current U.S. short-form content culture and the ability to explain what is resonating and why.
- Strong familiarity with at least some of the brand's priority communities, including motorsports, garage culture, outdoors, fitness, gaming, or adjacent niches.
- Experience operating a recurring creator, ambassador, affiliate, or UGC program—not only coordinating isolated campaigns.
- Experience sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, and managing multiple creators concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to assess short-form content and explain why a hook, format, personality, or edit is likely to perform.
- Ability to match content concepts to individual creator strengths and audiences.
- Comfort administering fixed and performance-based creator compensation.
- Strong written communication and the ability to build rapport through direct messages, chat, email, and video calls.
- Strong organization across creator relationships, deliverables, records, payments, and deadlines.
- Fluent, professional English.
- Reliable remote-work setup and consistent overlap with U.S. business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SideShift or another creator marketplace or management platform.
- Experience with TikTok Shop creator programs, including creator tiers, sampling, commissions, GMV reporting, and affiliate operations.
- Experience negotiating or managing usage rights, whitelisting, partnership ads, or paid amplification.
- Experience converting creator content into paid-social advertising assets.
- Experience in DTC, e-commerce, functional beverages, supplements, or consumer products.
- Experience managing creator payments, high-volume UGC production, or creator-performance reporting.
- Personal or professional background in motorsports, garage culture, outdoors, fitness, gaming, or adjacent creator communities.
Idóneo Candidate Profile
- You actively consume short-form content and understand what target communities are watching, sharing, and responding to.
- You are operational as well as strategic. You recruit, track, follow up, review content, and keep the program moving daily.
- You can assess not only whether a creator is active, but whether they are producing useful content. You understand how to match the right concept to the right person, recognize what is gaining traction, and turn those insights into specific direction.
- You re-engage creators rather than letting the roster go quiet, but you are also willing to replace creators when consistency, quality, or performance does not improve.
- You are comfortable joining an evolving program, helping improve the operating model, and assuming greater ownership as the system matures.
Why Join Us
- Build a high-visibility growth channel at a brand that is scaling quickly and takes its community seriously.
- This is an opportunity to shape how the company recruits creators, directs content, manages incentives, measures performance, and turns creator output into organic, affiliate, TikTok Shop, and paid-media growth.
