About The Role

NM Lead Gen helps home service businesses (roofers, plumbers, HVAC, electricians, landscapers, and more) get more booked jobs through paid advertising. We're hiring a Setter / Confirmation Specialist to be the first live voice a prospect hears after they raise their hand — turning interest into booked calls, and booked calls into calls that actually show up.

This is not a high-volume cold-calling grind. You won't be working a massive dial list all day — you'll be working fresh, warm leads the moment they come in. Speed and quality of conversation matter far more than call count.

What You Will Do

- Setting: Call leads who filled out an ad opt-in but haven't booked a call yet. Build value, address where they're currently getting leads from, and get them scheduled for a sales call.
- Confirming: Call leads immediately after they self-schedule a call, to lock in the appointment, build excitement, and share a quick case study — so they actually show up.
- Respond to every new lead within minutes, not hours — this is a speed-to-lead role.
- Log every call outcome and relevant notes in our CRM (GoHighLevel) so our closing team walks into every call fully prepared.
- Follow a structured, proven script and objection-handling framework (full training provided).

What Success Looks Like

- Fast response time to every lead (target: under 10 minutes, ideally under 5).
- Strong booking rate on setting calls.
- Strong show-up rate on confirmed calls.

What We Are Looking For

- Excellent spoken English and phone presence — warm, confident, and conversational, not scripted-sounding.




- Comfortable on the phone and quick on your feet with objections.
- Organized and detail-oriented — you'll be logging notes that our sales team relies on.
- Comfortable learning new software (GoHighLevel, Calendly) — training provided.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
- Prior experience in sales, appointment setting, or customer service is a plus, but not required — we have a full onboarding process to get you live and confident within your first week.

Compensation and Growth

- Monthly Base Retainer: $1,300–$1,500
- Commission (Expected): $750 on average
- On-target earnings (retainer + commission): $2,250/month
- Engaged as an independent contractor under a services agreement — you manage your own schedule and work independently to hit outcomes
- Room to grow as we expand our service offerings and lead volume i.e. SDR -> Senior SDR -> SDR Team Lead -> SDR Manager
