We are hiring a Senior Full-stack Engineer - Angular, Node.js to help modernize core systems by retiring COBOL and rebuilding capabilities with Node.js and Angular.
You will translate legacy business logic into scalable services, partner with stakeholders across teams, and uphold code quality from build to release.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new backend capabilities using Node.jsCreate and maintain frontend UI components using AngularLeverage services available on AWSParticipate in technical and functional analysis of existing COBOL processesCollaborate on migrating business logic from legacy systems into new applicationsWork with relational databases, SQL queries, and stored procedures when neededContribute to technical definitions with the Tech Lead and other team membersEnsure strong engineering practices, code quality, testing, and maintainabilitySupport technical and functional documentation for migrated processesInvestigate incidents, bugs, or functional differences between the legacy system and the new solutionAssist comprehensive testing, user validation, and production deployment phasesBuild understanding of implemented processes, their interactions, and the impact of delivered changesRequirementsProven software development experience of 3+ years working with Node.js, Angular,
