Alief ISD's new teacher's starting salary for the 2026-2027 school year is $67,100.

Staff Referral Stipends

The certified teacher referral stipend is $1,000 for any content-certified classroom teacher that has never been employed by Alief prior. At this time, there isn't a referral stipend for associate teachers or paraprofessionals. Existing full-time Alief ISD employees (excluding district administrators and substitutes) can earn bonuses by referring employees in hard to fill positions. These referral fees are paid out in February.
