The company helps high-ticket landscaping, contracting, and home service businesses dominate Google Maps and generate leads. You must have experience working with local service businesses. We are lean, results-driven, and AI-forward.

The role

Own local SEO campaigns for service businesses, strategy through results. You have a peer who owns GBP, citations, and links. You own everything else, and you co-own the outcome.

What you'll own

- Campaign strategy, keyword research, and a real content plan per client
- Service and service-area page architecture and high-intent content
- On-page and technical SEO: metadata, schema, internal linking, indexation
- Diagnosing ranking drops with logic, and flagging them before anyone asks
- Co-signing keyword targets and GBP direction with your off-page counterpart
- A lean monthly update: 5 to 7 bullets on where each client stands and what's next

How we work

- You own outcomes, not tasks. We don't micromanage, and we don't chase you for updates.




- Any client down 20% or more gets flagged within 24 to 48 hours, with the likely cause and a plan.
- Strong performance leads to more responsibility and more pay.

What you need

- 4+ years running local SEO specifically for service businesses (landscaping, HVAC, contractors, etc.), not ecommerce or general content SEO
- Proven Map Pack results and a real understanding of GBP strategy
- Experience owning multiple client campaigns at once
- Fluent in GA4, GSC, GTM, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- AI-forward: you already use ChatGPT or Claude daily for research, content, and audits
- You catch problems before someone else does

Structure

- Ramps to 12 to 15 campaigns as systems mature
- $2,500 to $3,500+/month, performance-based scorecard (deliverables and results)
- Full-time contractor, 100% remote, 14 days PTO
