Qualifications:

- Educational Background:

- Master’s Degree in their area of specialization (e.g., Psychotherapy, Psychology).

- Experience:

- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience, inclusive of time spent training (e.g., time during the master’s degree, but after completion of the undergraduate degree).

- Licensing:

- Must hold a license to practice relevant to the country in which they operate.

- Ireland:

- Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI): Full Member of either the Division of Counselling Psychology or Division of Clinical Psychology.

- Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP): Full practitioner status.





- Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP): Full practitioner status.

- Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI): Full practitioner status.

- Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI): Full practitioner status.

- Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP): Full practitioner status.

- Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP): Full practitioner status.

- United Kingdom:

- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP): Full practitioner status.
