At Kansas City Clinic Advisors, we're looking for a
Medical Office Specialist
to join our team!
In this role, you'll provide exceptional administrative support to a healthcare facility in the United States, assisting patients with appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, insurance questions, and a variety of front-office administrative tasks that help ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer a high volume of inbound patient phone calls with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments while coordinating provider availability and clinic protocols.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, explaining account balances, payment options, and general billing information.
• Help patients understand their insurance coverage, copayments, deductibles, and other benefit-related questions.
• Perform insurance verification and explain financial responsibility when appropriate.
• Process and follow up on prior authorizations as needed.
• Accurately document patient interactions and updates in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.




• Complete general medical administrative tasks, including managing message queues, updating patient information, and supporting daily clinic operations.
Requirements:
• Fluent English (C1 level and above – strong verbal communication is essential).
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare environments such as clinics, medical offices, hospitals, or similar settings.
• Comfortable handling phone-based communication throughout the day.
• Organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
About the Role & the Company:
Hybrid position preferred for candidates based in Buenos Aires (1 day in our Palermo Office).
Full-time schedule, working 8am to 5pm U.S CST hours - 10am to 7pm ARG Hours.
Formal employment with social security and health insurance coverage.
