Jetpacks is looking for someone to join our LatAm team as SRE - Observability. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive observability strategies, building telemetry pipelines, and driving platform reliability across diverse cloud environments, helping our client teams ship better software with confidence.

Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end OpenTelemetry solutions across diverse technology stacks, including SDKs, APIs, and Collector configurations.
- Configure and deploy OpenTelemetry Collectors for efficient data collection, processing, sampling, and routing across microservices architectures.
- Establish telemetry pipelines for metrics, traces, and logs, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.




- Augment existing infrastructure with integrated observability solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters with comprehensive monitoring and logging capabilities.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with embedded observability, automated testing, and agent evaluation workflows.
- Establish and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Objectives (SLOs), and Agreements (SLAs), including error budgets and toil reduction strategies.
- Support incident response procedures, on-call rotations, and post-mortem processes to continuously improve system reliability.
- Deploy and manage observability infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including security, compliance, and governance frameworks for telemetry data.
