We are seeking a
Senior Backend Engineer
with strong experience in
Node.js/TypeScript
and
AWS serverless
to design, build, and operate the backend services of
Optimus 4.0
.

The main focus will be on
IoT telemetry ingestion and time-series data processing
, APIs consumed by frontend and mobile applications, and ensuring operability of services in production.

This role involves
real ownership
of critical components. Architectural decisions are made collaboratively with the Tech Lead and Solution Architect, with mandatory documentation (ADRs) in the repository.



It is not a pure execution role — we expect technical judgment, initiative, and the ability to raise standards across the team.

This is you

Must-have Qualifications:
- Solid experience in backend development with Node.js/TypeScript, designing REST APIs and/or event-driven architectures.
- Proven expertise in AWS serverless: Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and at least two integration services (API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, Step Functions).
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL (modeling, indexing, performance, transactions, troubleshooting).
- Experience with high-frequency time-series data: ingestion, window queries, aggregations, retention policies.
- Daily use of GitHub: PRs, code reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines.
- Good practices in testing (unit/integration), observability, and security (secrets management, OWASP, authentication/authorization).
- Technical English for documentatio
