About the role

Robinson Immigration Law is a fully remote immigration firm serving founders, investors, and executives across E-2, L-1, EB-2 NIW, O-1, EB-1, and E-1 matters. These matters often involve detailed business plans tailored to the client's business plans.

We are looking for someone to own the business plan work product end to end: intake of client business information, market and industry research, 5-year financial projections, and a final plan formatted for filing. You will work directly with our case managers and attorneys and your plans will be filed with USCIS as part of client petitions.

What you'll do
- Draft complete immigration business plans for E-2, L-1, EB-2 NIW, O-1 support, and E-1 matters, structured around the adjudication elements of each category (e.g., substantial investment and marginality for E-2; organizational structure and managerial/executive capacity for L-1; the three Matter of Dhanasar prongs for NIW).
- Build customized 5-year financial projections from client-provided data, industry benchmarks, and cited market research.



Every figure defensible; every source footnoted.
- Keep plans concise. Our standard is the shortest plan that fully carries the evidentiary burden — adjudicators and reviewing attorneys should never have to search for the elements.
- Deliver attorney-ready drafts: formatted for firm letterhead, internally consistent with the petition record, requiring minimal attorney markup.
- Support RFE responses where the request implicates the business plan — revised projections, supplemental market evidence, clarified operational detail — under attorney direction.
- Coordinate with case managers on client questionnaires and document collection; join client calls when business details need to be developed directly.
- Maintain and improve the firm's plan templates, projection models, and research source library by visa category.
