Toplent helps companies scale faster by connecting them with exceptional remote professionals from SEA, LATAM, and South Africa. We are currently collaborating with a client who is seeking a skilled and reliable Backend Developer to join their team on a remote full-time basis.

? Responsibilities:
- ⚙️ Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- ?️ Manage databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security
- ? Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- ? Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- ? Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- ✅ Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
- ? Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications

?️ Required Skills:
- ? Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams




- ?‍? Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby)
- ?️ Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- ? Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- ☁️ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ? Solid understanding of software engineering principles, scalability, and performance optimization
- ? Previous experience as a backend developer or in a similar role is strongly preferred
