About TGG Accounting

TGG Accounting is a U.S.-based financial services firm with a team of 250+ professionals across the United States, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and the Philippines. We help small and mid-size businesses build strong financial foundations — and we are growing. We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and take full ownership of client accounting outcomes within our proven TGG Way methodology.

How We

Work

We service U.S. base clients, operating on a defined schedule, documented standards, and clear ownership roles. You will oversee Staff Accountant transactional work, uphold controls and processes, and guide team execution to prepare reliable, review-ready financial statements every month.

We give you the structure to do that well: written processes, Financial Controllers who review and support your work, and a technical feedback loop designed to make you better at the craft. Responsibilities

Weekly Operations

Review customer invoicing and manage the AR cycle.

Review vendor bills, approve AP, and submit payments.

Approve and submit payroll.

Perform P&L; scrubs and review cash flow forecasts.

Resolve collections issues and escalate exceptions.

Manage weekly recurring accounting processes as directed by the Controller.

Monthly Close & Reporting

Lead the month-end close: complete the full client Technical QA checklist through the Month-End Workbook.

Ensure accuracy of the balance sheet workbook and reconcile supporting schedules.

Review the final P&L; scrub and approve journal entries prepared by the Staff Accountant.

Review financial statements, supporting schedules, and financial packages prepared by the Staff Accountant.

Understand the purpose of existing KPIs, roll them forward monthly, and confirm accuracy across statements, KPIs, executive summaries, charts, graphs, and footnotes.

Maintain process and procedural documentation, and provide technical feedback to Staff Accountants to strengthen their accounting skills.

Quarterly & Annual Compliance

Coordinate, review, and submit annual 1099s.

Review the chart of accounts and recommend corrections.

Provide recommendations to improve client efficiency.

New Client Implementation

Audit the new client's existing processes and procedural documentation.

Recommend and document updated SOPs for Controller sign-off.

Build core financial templates and initial reports: Cash Flow Forecast, AP Tracker, Month-End Workbook, and Financial Package.

Train and delegate ongoing operational tasks to Staff Accountants.

This Role

Is for You If

You have experience managing or supervising a team.

You have demonstrated experience working with or within U.S.-based companies or clients, and exposure to U.S. GAAP.

You have 4+ years of accounting experience, and you take your work seriously.

You thrive in a structured, high-accountability remote environment — not just a flexible one.

You want to grow within a real general firm, not just take on another freelance gig.

Your written and spoken English is fluent.

Preferred

Experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Experience with NetSuite, Sage 300, Ramp, or Bill.com is a plus.

Experience in a professional services, outsourced accounting, or client-facing advisory environment. Schedule, Onboarding & Engagement Structure

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST (U.S.

Pacific

Time). Coverage during these hours is a core requirement of the role.

Equipment: A reliable computer, stable high-speed internet, and a headset are required from your start date.

What We

Offer

90-day structured onboarding with full compensation and paid training in U.S. GAAP and TGG processes.

Unlimited PTO after the onboarding period — we trust our people to manage their time responsibly, always ensuring client needs are covered.

IT equipment reimbursement to support your remote setup.

Maternity and paternity leave — because family comes first.

Health emergency support — we are here when life gets complicated.

Loyalty bonus for team members who reach 2+ years with us — we recognize and reward stability.

Ongoing support and follow-up from your team lead and HR — you are never left to figure things out alone.

Access to TGG University and continuous professional development.

Real career growth — we have a promotion system and performance review cycles that review each individual case. Many of our senior team members started exactly where you would.

A professional, multicultural team that holds itself to a high standard. Important to know:

This is an Independent Contractor position, consistent with TGG's global model for our international professionals. After onboarding, compensation is based on hours worked (full-time or part-time depending on client allocation). Local holidays and sick leave apply from day one.

If you are looking for structure, growth, and a team that will challenge you to be better — we want to hear from you.
