We're looking for a co-founding commercial partner.
Not an employee. Not a VP. A partner.
Digpatho is an AI-for-pathology company with a patent-pending fractal mathematical architecture for immunohistochemistry quantification — the foundational diagnostic test that decides cancer therapy for millions of patients each year. We're not a CNN-trained algorithm in a saturated market. We're a categorically new mathematical method, defended by method patent, with operations across LATAM, a foothold in Iberia, and active outreach to Tier 1 institutions on three continents.
We have the science. We have the IP. We have the team — 40+ people,
5 PhDs, advisors including Pedro Nueno (chairman emeritus, CEIBS) and
Agustín Caverzasi (co-founder Auth0, USD 6.5B exit to Okta). What we don't yet have is the right person to lead commercial scaling across LATAM and to architect the institutional relationships that turn science into a sustainable business. If the description below sounds like a mirror, we should talk. ——— You spent the last 10–15 years inside the pathology, oncology, or diagnostic-imaging industry. Probably at Roche Diagnostics, Abbott,
Siemens Healthineers, Becton Dickinson, Sysmex, Hologic, or one of the mid-tier reference laboratories. You know how pathology departments actually buy. You know which CMOs sign contracts and which ones delegate to procurement.
You speak the clinical language and the commercial language, and you can switch registers in the same meeting. You have built and led commercial teams. You have closed multi-year contracts with hospital networks.
You have managed pipeline across multiple LATAM countries and you understand that Argentina, Mexico, and
Brazil are three different commercial cultures — not one. But something has shifted. You're tired of optimizing the third decimal of revenue for a corporate quarterly report.
You want to build something that didn't exist before you got there. You have a network that you believe deserves a better product to sell into it. You are not looking for a job. You are looking for ownership. ——— The role. — Architect Digpatho's commercial strategy across LATAM, with secondary exposure to Iberia and Asia.
— Build and lead the commercial function from zero — first hire is yours to recruit.
— Own the lighthouse partnerships pipeline: reference hospitals, pharma companion diagnostics channels, and academic alliances.
— Sit on the leadership table for product, regulatory, and capital decisions. This is not a role that reports to strategy. This is a role that defines it. The structure. We are open. Equity-heavy structures, blended salary-plus-equity,
performance-anchored arrangements — we're versátil on form because we're serious about substance. We will design compensation around the right person, not around a template. The conversation about structure happens after we both agree the fit is real. The non-negotiables. — You believe a patent-pending mathematical method beats a CNN trained on annotations. If you don't see why this is structurally important,
this isn't your role.
— You're willing to take partner-grade risk for partner-grade upside.
— You are based in, or willing to operate primarily from, Mexico,
Argentina, or Brazil — with regional travel.
— You can work in English with international counterparts, in Spanish or
Portuguese with regional ones, and you understand that switching is part of the day. ——— If this reads like the next chapter you've been waiting to write, send me a message directly. Not a CV — a message. Tell me what you'd build in your first 90 days.
