Director, Supply Chain (BUE00PH) Company: Worley Primary Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina – Puerto Madero Office.

Work Modality: Hybrid (3–4 days per week in the office, depending on business/project needs).

Employment Type: Full-time, Employee Job Posting Date: Jul 6, 2026 Overview Play an integral role in the successful delivery of large, complex EPC/EPCM projects by leading the full lifecycle of project procurement and supply chain activities. The role involves developing and executing supply chain strategies that support project objectives while ensuring equipment, materials, and third‑party services are delivered safely, on schedule, and at the best possible value.

Responsibilities - Lead procurement, logistics, materials management, expediting, and contracts teams, and oversee all procurement and supply chain operations for major EPC/EPCM projects.

- Develop and implement the project Procurement Plan, identifying critical equipment, materials, and third‑party services required for successful project delivery.
- Establish procurement strategies that balance schedule, cost efficiency, quality, and risk management.
- Create and maintain approved vendor lists, ensuring suppliers meet technical, commercial, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and oversee the issuance of Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages and ensure clear technical and commercial documentation.
- Lead commercial and technical evaluation of vendor bids, providing recommendations for supplier selection and contract awards.
- Negotiate major equipment and service contracts to secure favorable commercial and delivery terms.




- Ensure supply chain execution supports project milestones, mitigating risks that could impact project schedule or cost.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project controls, construction, and commercial teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to supply‑chain personnel, including procurement managers, buyers, expeditors, and logistics specialists.
- Manage supplier performance and develop long‑term relationships with strategic vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical procurement practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement systems, processes, and tools.
- Communicate procurement strategies, project risks, and performance updates to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
- Oversee commercial compliance with procurement contracts, including managing contract amendments, claims, and change orders, ensuring obligations are fulfilled.
- Support dispute resolution and commercial negotiations.
- Direct domestic and international logistics operations, including development of transportation strategies for oversized and critical equipment, customs clearance, import/export compliance, and freight forwarding.




- Optimize transportation costs while maintaining schedule requirements.

Qualifications - 20+ years of supply‑chain leadership experience within EPC/EPCM environments.

- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to develop and execute project‑wide procurement strategies that align with engineering, construction, and commercial objectives.
- Strong expertise in equipment procurement, materials sourcing, and third‑party service contracting for large capital projects.
- Leadership experience managing high‑performing supply‑chain teams, including leading and managing teams of 30+ across multiple office and site roles.
- Experience establishing material management systems and operations.
- Deep understanding of integral supplier markets, vendor qualification processes, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously through cross‑functional teams and indirect reporting structures.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating high‑value contracts and managing supplier risk.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex proposals and influence senior leadership.
- Collaborative leadership style that promotes teamwork, accountability, and transparency across project teams.
- Advanced knowledge of procurement systems, processes, and tools used within EPC environments.
