The role

Proactive and results-driven Senior Quality Assurance professional specializing in coordinating comprehensive testing activities across diverse technical domains, including API, Web UI, Backoffice systems, and Online Switch. Acting as a crucial bridge between technical execution and stakeholder alignment, this role leverages mature soft skills to facilitate critical discussions, mitigate risks, and drive continuous process improvement. A strong advocate for the "shift-left" approach, blending advanced architectural expertise in complex APIs with senior-level test coordination to build a culture of quality from within the team.

Bilingual with advanced Spanish and intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Cross-Domain Coordination (Primary Focus)

- Create, update, and maintain clear testing strategies and plans spanning multiple functional areas (API, Web, Backoffice, and Online Switch), ensuring full transparency for the team, stakeholders, and clients.
- Follow daily testing activities, actively participate in team huddles, and provide accurate, timely testing status updates to keep all parties aligned.
- Ensure that established testing procedures—including strict entry/exit criteria and execution steps—are correctly followed by both QA peers and relevant stakeholders.




- Assist in prioritizing and organizing team tasks, generating project estimates, managing schedules, and facilitating discussions regarding resource needs.

Technical Architecture & API Mastery (Secondary Focus)

- Support the design and maintenance of scalable, modular automation frameworks specifically tailored for RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design and execute complex, data-driven API test suites (using tools like Postman/Newman) to validate data flows, authentication protocols, and system integrations.
- Drive the integration and optimization of automated API test suites within CI/CD pipelines, establishing robust quality gates and automated reporting metrics.
- Execute and oversee API performance and reliability testing protocols to ensure backend services consistently meet production-grade SLAs.
- Provide supplementary testing support and guidance for mobile applications and complex Web UI layers to ensure comprehensive end-to-end coverage when required.

Stakeholder Communication & Risk Management

- Actively attend and facilitate essential meetings with clients, product teams, and internal stakeholders regarding documentation, test progress, and defect triaging.
- Highlight and handle project risks well in advance,



applying a senior-level sense of criticality to mitigate delivery or client impact.
- Utilize mature soft skills to maintain clear, concise communication during critical project phases, supporting, discussing, and seamlessly escalating to QA Managers when necessary.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

- Guide and coach team members toward adopting a robust QA and Automation mindset, championing a "shift-left" approach to ensure API "Testability" is baked into new features early.
- Drive the end-to-end defect lifecycle across Web, API, Backoffice, and Online Switch, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality delivery.
- Continuously evaluate current workflows to provide actionable suggestions that improve QA tooling, streamline processes, and promote quality across the company.
