The Opportunity

In this role, you'll be right at the heart of how next-generation vehicles are tested, validated, and brought to life.
We're looking for a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer who enjoys building, integrating, and continuously improving complex test environments.
You'll work hands-on with Vector tools, contribute to CI pipelines, and play a key role in accelerating innovation in electrification and autonomous driving.
What you'll be doing
Design, develop, and maintain HIL rigs at component and domain levelsLead integration activities across multiple product areasCommission, configure, and validate HIL test objectsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues (wiring, harnesses, simulation elements)Manage ECU updates and component configurationsDevelop and enhance network simulations (gateways, signal manipulation, etc.)Execute manual software downloads for core ECUs
What we're looking for




Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field10+ years of relevant experience in automotive or embedded environmentsStrong background in electronic systems development (hardware & software)Hands‐on experience with HIL and automated test systems, using Vector toolsProficiency in Python and CAPL for scripting and automationSolid understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)Experience using CANoe for simulation and data analysis
Experience with Vector hardware is a strong plus, including:
VT System modules (VT RT Modules, VT cards)RT Rack and compatible I/O boardsVector Network Interface cardsPower supply units and control systems
Nice to have:Experience in domains such as Doors, Sunroof, Trailer modules, or Exterior Lighting / Interior Systems.
