ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a Senior/Lead React Native Engineer to own the architecture, release process, and long-term technical health of a reader mobile application built with React Native and distributed via Expo and EAS.
You will improve and maintain CI/CD and build automation workflows, manage App Store and Google Play releases, evaluate and implement architectural improvements, and establish engineering best practices through code reviews.
This is a platform-focused role prioritizing maintainability, release predictability, and developer experience over feature velocity.WHAT YOU WILL DO- Own the technical architecture of the React Native application;- Improve and maintain our Expo/EAS build and release pipeline;- Manage App Store and Google Play releases;- Improve CI/CD, build automation, and deployment workflows;- Evaluate and implement architectural improvements as the application evolves;- Improve application performance, stability,



and maintainability;- Review pull requests and help establish engineering best practices;- Occasionally implement new product features when architectural work requires it.MUST HAVES- 4+ years of experience with React Native in production;- Extensive experience with Expo and EAS Build/Update;- Deep understanding of iOS and Android release processes;- Familiarity with TypeScript;- Experience with push notification patterns and architecture;- Experience with offline reading experiences and caching behaviors;- Comfortable diagnosing native build issues and dependency conflicts;- Experience shipping and maintaining apps through the Apple App Store and Google Play;- Upper-intermediate English level.NICE TO HAVES- Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring;- Experience working alongside modern React web applications;- Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions.PERKS AND BENEFITS- Professional growth: Mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.
