We are led by our Values: Take Charge, Team Up, and Be True.As part of our expansion plan driven by rapid growth in the LATAM region, Ambu is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our LATAM team to be based either in Chile (Santiago) or Argentina (Buenos Aires), reporting to the LATAM Commercial Director based in Brazil.
This role is responsible for driving regional sales growth and managing strategic relationships with our network of distributors across designated countries in Latin America, with the focus on Chile and Argentina.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical devices, proven experience managing indirect sales channels (distributors), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.The external key stakeholders are the regional distributors as well as key opinion leaders within Ambu's main segments in select countries in LATAM.
Internally, the key stakeholders will be the LATAM team, the Clinical Sales Specialist for Chile and Argentina, the GEM management team and other relevant colleagues in the GEM marketing team, customer service, and the Regulatory Affairs (RA) teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the distributors in Chile and Argentina and in other select markets in Latam to grow the business, prioritizing the Endoscopy Solutions product lineDevelop and implement a strategic plan for selected countries based on the LATAM strategy for Ambu.




Identify customer needs and adapt plans accordinglyPlan and execute sales and projects for full product range to reach annual objectivesManage a Clinical Sales Specialist, based in Santiago, Chile, responsible to support the distributors in Chile and Argentina to drive the demand for Bronchoscopy in both current and new accountsSupport the distributors to grow in existing accounts by increasing use among current users and expanding to new specialties and procedures in current accounts and in opening new accountsCarry out regular documented Business Reviews with your Distributor partners and update CRM programs as requiredProvide forecasts and be involved in the budgeting processWork with Regulatory to facilitate product registrations where neededGather market information and competitive intelligenceMaintain close relations and contact with key external stakeholders such as distributors, top accounts and Key Opinion Leaders and internal stakeholders like customer service, clinical/training, product management, regulatory, etc.Suggested candidate profileSkillsA strong commercial profile with regional experience in LATAM within medical devicesExperience in managing indirect markets (distributors) in multiples countries across LATAMPeople leader experienceA strong strategic profile and capabilities to prioritizeAn entrepreneurial profile who thrives with many different responsibilities/tasksSpanish and English on a professional level is requiredA positive can-do "the sky is the limit" attitudeAmbu – a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matterAmbu is a company that expands rapidly and has ambitious growth targets.
