We are searching for a Lead Server-side Engineer to become part of our team.
We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and a creative mindset who thrives on solving challenging problems and working with modern technologies.
You should feel comfortable voicing your ideas and be genuinely passionate about user experience and elegant code.
You will operate within a large team made up of engineers, product professionals, designers, and QA.
Responsibilities
Develop server-side applications that drive business-critical functionality
Produce clean and maintainable code across backend components
Restructure code to enhance readability, organization, and long-term maintainability
Eliminate outdated code to keep the codebase lean and healthy
Leverage build tools to streamline development and deployment activities
Maintain and improve Continuous Integration pipelines
Diagnose and resolve bugs to keep systems stable and dependable
Craft asynchronous code to manage concurrent operations effectively
Carry out performance analysis and optimization to secure system efficiency
Handle legacy code and integrate with bespoke, hand‐crafted backend services from earlier eras
Craft solutions for open‐ended problems and complex technical challenges
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent experience




No less than 5 years of hands‐on professional experience in software development
At least 1 year of experience leading and managing teams
Strong command of Algorithms and Data Structures for tackling complex engineering problems
Applied experience designing and consuming REST APIs
Hands‐on background with Spring Boot for creating backend services
Solid track record in Unit Testing to safeguard code reliability and correctness
English at B2 level or higher, with strong written and spoken communication skills
Nice to have
Practical experience with Docker for containerizing applications and services
Familiarity with Gradle for build automation
Exposure to GraphQL for flexible API design and data querying
Working knowledge of Kotlin for modern JVM‐based development
Familiarity with RAML for API modeling and documentation
