Role Overview
The
Business Development Team Analyst-Associate
is a pivotal role within our organization, serving as a right-hand person to the Business Development leadership. This position is not limited to traditional administrative support; it involves a deep level of trust, adaptability, and strategic thinking. The Business Development Team Analyst-Associate will be an extension of the BD team, working closely with its members to handle both professional and personal responsibilities, and representing the team in various capacities (meant to be like a junior Chief of Staff to the Business Development Team).
Key Responsibilities
1. Confidential Liaison
• Act as a trusted confidant to the BD leadership, handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Represent the BD team in meetings and act as a spokesperson on their behalf, both internally and externally to the company.
2. Comprehensive Support
• Accompany BD team members to meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
• Adapt to the ever-changing needs of the BD team, providing assistance that ranges from personal matters to complex business projects.
3. Client Engagement
• Assist in the prospecting process, conducting research and gathering relevant information for client meetings.




• Collaborate with the BD team to strategize for client meetings and prepare necessary documents.
• Attend meetings and take comprehensive notes, providing debriefs afterward.
4. Documentation and Organization
• Update the CRM system and maintain the top pipeline document.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external meetings, e.g.: Decks, Proposals, etc
• Draft and send emails, proposals, and other communication on behalf of the BD team.
5. Project Management
• Help take various initiatives to completion, including Statements of Work (SOW), contracts, requests from advisors, patent analyses, etc.
• Assist in follow-ups with clients and participate in forecasting and projection activities.
• Assist in managing a variety of projects, including client engagements, corporate initiatives, and tasks for the BD team.
• Ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
6. Research and Investigation
• Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of topics as required, such as market trends, industry developments, and specific client needs.
• Support the BD team in investigating topics relevant to business growth.
7. Team Support
• Assist the BD leadership in coordination across the team, offering support in communication, alignment, and follow-up on cross-functional initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A strong desire to serve as a Business Analyst-Associate to the BD team, with a genuine interest in the success of the team.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to dive deep into topics, conduct research, and provide valuable insights.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
• Business Administration, accountant, finance or related studies are a plus.
